2008 E320 Bluetec
I bought my replacement A/C compressor, drier, expansion valve from Amazon as a kit. It is no-brand components, and (knock on wood) seems to be working out great.
If you put your car info into amazon, it tries to show you appropriate parts that will fit.
For my e320 bluetec 2008, replacement DENSO AC compressor was 450-600$. The complete kit I purchased (incl. drier/expansion, pag oil and replacement seals) was $330. The seller in Amazon was buyautoparts.com
You can purchase direct from their website, https://www.buyautoparts.com/.
I was more comfortable dealing direct with Amazon, hoping for leverage in case of issues... and thus I purchased through Amazon.

Whether or not you go with OEM or some no-brand cheaper parts, is up to you.
