Trans "Slipping"...certainly covered (cant find the thread)
So, my W212 (Wagon) has a slipping feeling..and was confirmed with my MB computer when driving. The trans diagnostics just says "slipping" as I drive. Certainly, there is a thread to this specifically? I found a years and years old thread but that was more geared to the fluid change and other electronic issues.

I am at about 170k (mi) and had it changed about 60k ago by a 'reputable' Euro car specific place. I wonder if my first thing is to replace the fluid????

1. you are overdue for a fluid change by 10k miles on a transmission that must have regular fluid changes.
2. 150k miles is the general useful life for the 722.9 7G with average maintenance and usage/duty cycle. You are in the “extra time” phase of your transmission’s life so keeping up with maintenance is a must.

Thank you very much - I am ready to cycle my cars. I have a 2004 C240 (Wagon) that I purchased new, this E350 that I got at 65k...and a GLS550 (19 I got new). Had it not been for the market I would have already purchased a '20+ E63S Wagon, turned the E350 in to a "mountain bike hauler" as is the job of the 240 and done god only knows what with the 240....but, seem the market is all over the place on the AMG...up and down $40k in a day.
Probably need to just find a new trans for the E350
