I'm very excited to pick up my first MB and first wagon soon. It's a 2006 E350 Wagon w 4 matic. It has under 40k miles and the car is super clean in and out.
It's my first MB purchase and I am just leaning about these vehicles.
I know the biggest issue w the 06 350 engine is the balance shaft and my engine does fall in the defective range. I've read on the forum that the failure rate is something like 10%, is that accurate?
I just found out the SBC brakes are good for 25 yrs which is nice to hear.
Is there anything else I should be looking for? I also found it odd that both sets of keys are the older style fob without the chrome sides but I've seen 06 models w atleast one chrome fob.
Also I'd like to replace the wheels at some point..Does anyone know what style wheels these are?
