Do The UK Floor Mats Look Like These?

I have found these on line. They seem to look like the UK floormats. Are they?

Hi Barry,
You have seen the photograph I attached on a previous thread showing the genuine Mercedes-Benz mats. The ones you show are:

Extremely expensive
In my opinion 'cheap looking'
Barely similar to the real thing. (Mercedes-Benz emblem should be lower right)
The left side on the real article for the UK is slightly curved.

My personal taste is for a more 'conservative' style.

Good luck with your quest, why don't you e-mail the stores department of a European Mercedes-Benz dealer (they also drive on the wrong side of the road) for either the carpet or part number. (you only need the drivers mat approximately £18)

Regards,
John

Of course you are right! I still want to develop a dead pedal cover of my own made of vinyl. I dont want to glue it down, and I don't want to screw it down either. But if I find the vinyl item I'm looking for. some of the creative folk here will come up with the way to do this.

The material I think I will end up with is a vinyl stair tread. I have seen them in a store around here. They come in many many colo(u)rs, so a match should not be hard for any if the MB interiors.

...and you are right. Aftermarket floor mats usually don't fit exactly right, and rarely color/texture match. In the US the dealer floor mats are sold only as a set of 4 for $ 100.oo The come pre packed in a plastic bag. (I know, I already bought them so I'll have them to rotate in after this coming winter's mess.)
