Recently purchased a 2nd hand SAP V4 Bluetooth module for my 2007 W211 E280 Sedan (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/363818411925)
I need to use Option C to install it but can't get the right PIN to pair the phone/device.
VIN: WDB2110542B198601
I try to enter a custom PIN, like 0000 or 1111 but no go. Also tried 62872 (MBUSA) and nothing.
Any ideas?

Update: I can now manage to get the COMAND generated 16 digit PIN. I enter this PIN into my phone and the items pair. :-)

Now it just sits there with the message "Please insert phone". Don't know what to do now?

Look at the last step - "contact info will be downloaded. Please give this 5 minutes to complete."

I will try these steps out later this afternoon.

Well now the two Bluetooth items paired yesterday! Now I enter the 16 digit PIN that I screen-shotted with my phone and phone gives me "Could not connect" message.

The phone is a Oppo Find X5 Lite. It's a pretty decent phone, and I know it's not one the phones listed as compatible but I'm giving this go anyway.

Anyone have any ideas as to why the adapter and phone won't pair? Even when I've tried the same PIN (Which I believe is correct) 3 times and still no go?
