Arrow Fog light operation

Just checking, but when I activate fog lights, only the LEFT rear is bright, the right side is half as bright.
is this normal?
the reason I am asking is because my iCarsoft is saying the right lamp is on and the left side is off when fog lamps are turned on.

thank you,

Never heard of this; however, there is a function to turn the right or left parking lights on dim. The headlight switch has headlights, running lights, automatic, off, …and then it goes to left parking lights and then right parking lights. The idea is you can park on the side of a road and leave just the (either left or right) street side parking lights for safety.

Maybe this parking circuit is interacting with your lights.

good luck,
Peter

Yes, there is only a driver side rear fog light.

Ha ha. Lkchris is absolutely correct. I misunderstood what was being asked.

In the 1970’s, it was common in some places to add an aftermarket rear fog light. It looked like a front fog light but was red and you only put one on your rear bumper so it didn’t look like brake lights.

For those who are not familiar with the fog light feature that I am referring to is activated by turning the headlight switch fully clockwise from the OFF position, and pulling it outward, two LEDs will then light below the headlight switch, a green and an orange LED. When The fog light feature is activated, the left side rear tail light illuminates super bright and then of course the front fog lights are also illuminated.

The parking lamp feature actives parking lamps on either either the right side or left side of the vehicle depending on the switch position.

well yes its built in, no aftermarket, and its a great safety feature. I am using it frequently in my foggy weather,
