2006 E350 4matic lots of misfire code
Hello all I’m back again
thanks for all your help last time with the 2nd battery and warning
new issue now hope you can point me in the right direction
2006 E350 4matic
sons car - been running great
yesterday he got gas at a wawa up in Edison nJ where he goes to school
drove hove - over 37 miles on GSP with no issues
got on 195 no issues
When he got off about a mile from our house
boom check engine light and car died in the middle of the road
police came and helped him move it out of the way
i get the DAD HELP call
drove out and ran codes
misfires
so I wasn’t about to hurt it and got it towed
was running really rough - no power below 3000 rpm
but over that runs smoothly and strong
no weird noises
i figured bad gas so I dry gas and seafoam
still she is throwing codes and not happy at all
codes are
P0300
P0304
P0306
P0305
any ideas where I should start digging in?

Codes
I know what the codes mean
P0300 is random misfire
the rest are cyl 4,5,6
driver side when looking at the motor
I got the top end off and no vacuum leaks
all electric looks ok - no connection off

Standard procedure for misfires is to suspect the plugs/coils. When were they last changed? Then if those are good, you move on to other possibilities like the fuel pump etc. Also what's the mileage? I feel bad because it's a 2006 with the bad balance shaft, you should get a code reader that can do MB specific codes and maybe there are more codes that will help you narrow it down.

they where changed 10000 ago
fuel pressure is good
its only that driver side bank 456 that’s throwing the codes
i am leaning towards driver side cat at this point but I am looking for suggestions
also when she starts now it revs high now for the first 3 min - over 2000rpm
car has 147980 on it
still a baby - well if it was a ford

You may have a leaky valve over there which will give you ~80 psi, roughly half of what it should be.
