4matic front lower control arm install
I am in the process of installing new lower control arms on 2004 e500 4matic. The removal was difficult as the inside bushings were pinched in the slot that they install onto the frame.
Now I am trying to install them and the gap is too small for the new lower control arm to slide in position. I've tried to open the gap using a 2ft pry bar, but the steel is too thick and strong to bend that way.
Anyone who has done this job before, how did you handle this?

I have finished replacing my lower control arms, upper control arms, sway bar link, lower ball joint. How to video coming soon. I have a new sway bar on order and will install once it arrives.
If anyone is interest in buying my lower control arms, let me know. You'll have to buy new bushings and install them. Mercedes charges about 1000 for both sides new. Heck, if you want, i could order the bushings, have my guy install them, then you'll have both lower control arms ready to go!
