2008 Mercedes E350 4 matic
Deteriorated shield question
Please help me identify the rusted deteriorated part on this photo. The photo shows driver side front hub with rotor removed. Is it some kind of shield?

It is held by two 8mm screws. The wire in the middle is ABS (?) sensor. What is this part called? What is the part number? The car is 2008 E350 4matic.
