Hello everyone,
information required about w211
The car has parking sensor module installed on the dashboard, but the bumpers have no sensor visible. I am about to buy this car. Which according to seller came as it is from factory.

Its an e200 2006 late model

Actual Parktronic module is in the trunk, left side. Those on the dash are just a indicator lights. There should be also a second lightmodule in the roof, which you can see from the rear view mirror.
Does the rear bumper have sensors, and is there a button next to a shifter which disables the Parktronic?

No there is no indicator for the back side and no sensor in both the bumper as well.
also nothing on the shifter.
Just this indicator on the dash.
haven't checked the truck yet as i haven't bought the car yet.
also nothing mentioned parktronic in vin decoder.

Maybe the dash cover is same on every model, so there are those lights even though they serve no purpose.
