Electrical woes please help
Hey everyone... hope all is well.
I have recently had a couple issues with my 08 E350 4matic. The battery light came on a couple times over the course of a year but never any issues. Always charging over 14 and well over 12v when off. Now a week ago the car radio went off, ABS/Trac lights on, and headlights also shut off while driving at night. Car drove weakly and even the display inside the speedometer was dimming and the car wanted to shut off it seemed like. Got home turned it off, checked voltage, car started fine and issues were gone. Started next morning in the cold. Today the same thing happened. Battery is 14.24 when car is on, and 12.6+ when off. I tested for and found a draw of .080 mA but I do not think that is causing any major issues like this. I pulled over today on the side of the highway today checked everything out and all seemed ok, battery was 12.25 roughly I believe, and the car wouldnt start. Used my portable jumper and she started up and I limped home. Car drove weak no headlights or radio. Get home turn off, check voltage which is fine and the car turns right back on.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Battery did test ok at autozone for what thats worth.
