greetingz,
greetingz,
Don't expect it to be cheap! We'll just have the pricing because we've received inquiries.

Um, which of the many north america COMAND units is it compatible with? I'm guessing only the new dvd-based and the imported euro dvd-based ones?
It looks like that's a ball joint at the display end of the arm, so it can be adjusted from side to side, correct?
This is a really nice and clean install; I can see why someone would want to do this, but (I'm probably going to come across as a punk saying this, so sorry in advance) $1700 can buy several awfully nice portable dvd players...

I am quite sure that for the price of the average W211 here on this forum one could have bought several chevrolet cavaliers and or nissan sentras...but personlly...that is not a car I want to drive...
Matt, the car in the picture you refered to doesn"t have the chrome interior trims or memory seats either...that is what we in europe have to settle with...AND for at least twice the cost of a US spec W211 with chrome trims, power adjusteable seats (our mainly manual adjustable seats come with that knob) and 2way airco system...this is what the CLASSIC trim is about.

Nice installation. Ive just bought an E320 with this screen and wondered how i operate it.
Any ideas where I can get the command remote control from? Or do I need to go to Merc?
Found a few online for sale, but they all look different, so not sure which i need.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks guys

Haha... it is an old thread. But hey, it's good that useful info sticks around. You just gotta sort the wheat from the chaff....
I'll get in touch with the local Merc dealer. They're pretty good with old timers, they even have a department to look after them.
Cheers
