Bleeding Brakes without STAR or any computer
Later Edit:
Hey Guys,
Sorry! You are all correct this car does not have SBC I'll leave the below because I could not bleed the brakes after air was introduced into the ABS module unless I followed the below procedure. My local shop (not an MB shop) also could not. Suction at the caliper, pressure alone, traditional two person bleeding, all did not work. It had to be pressurized and have someone pumping the brakes. I attempted to bleed the lines at the ABS module and with out both pressure (from the rig mentioned below) and pumping the pedal it did not work.
Sorry again for the incorrect mentioning of the SBC system below.

Just did it on a W211 2007 with power motive pressure bleeder (could be done with any pressure set up). Seems like this has been a topic on other parts of this forum and I don't want folks to think they can't do it without some silly expensive computer!
1) Disconnect battery (not even sure I had to do this)
2) Pressurize system with pressure bleeding setup to 15 - 20 PSI
3) Bleed in the traditional way (meaning have assistant pump the brakes and crack the bleeders)
Works great, cost $50 USD for the pressure set up (you could cobble one together for way less if you needed to). This was after needing to replace a bunch of rusted out lines. There was air in the SBC module, lines and calipers. Still worked fine. It did require about 1.5L of brake fluid. It did not require any scan tool let alone the STAR. No codes after the fact and brakes feel great!
Happy to answer questions if this isn't clear!

If you have the EBC, I’ve been told to unplug it during a flush. Otherwise, it could give you a bad jolt of brake pressure if someone grabs a door handle or hits the key fob.
