Cap for temporarily sealing ends of hard brake lines?

I'll be pulling and transferring hard lines from one chassis to another and need to keep debris out.

Looking for recommendations on what I can use to temporarily seal off the ends of the lines.

I note that there are six lines coming in/out of the SBC, so I figure I'll need a total of twelve caps?

Here is an idea (never used them myself)

I've used electrical tape or duct tape if I don't have the correct plugs available. Works just fine if only purpose is to keep debris out.

I also used electrical tape but with a piece of blue scott towel wrapped first to keep the tape from falling off once brake fluid gets to it.

OK, yeah, tape (and or/with paper towel) is likely the best. Don't want to add bulk (unless it gets threaded onto a fitting it's going to be prone to being bumped off when routing on/off).

Thanks!

I found that I could use some silicone stopper plugs (for short-term use they seem like they'll work). Bought a pack of assorted sizes off of Amazon: have also come in handy for sealing up the line holes in the SBC. The smallest ones are tiny and a bit fiddly to install/push into the small dia brake line hole but heavily twisting while gently pushing seems to "screw" them in enough to hold (but probably won't take much of a bump to pop out).
