Well, you sold the wheels and tires, the customer bought them, everybody's happy, and so it would be gratuitous and ungracious of me to say what I think of that particular look on a Mercedes E500.

Looks good. Glad it's not some ghetto-fab chrome 22" bling-bling setup.

I have seen some horrendous pictures of shattered wide wheels that have had low profile tyres fitted. Mostly caused by the poor condition of some badly maintained roads.

What are your views on using those wheels, tyres for every day use?

Thanks very much for posting thepicture,
Regards,
John

I think they look great. As for comfort, though, I woudl think 20's would be too rough for my taste.

It looks too "sporty" for the w211. Looks like it might be better suited on an Acura.

Well, I can tell you by start that the customer didn't purchase the tires from me just the wheels. He did state that he was buying the wheels for his daughter, it was going to be her sweet 16 present; a brand new 2004 E500 + 20in wheels.

Personally, for daily driving 20s might be pushing it. If you are looking to buy a set of wheels, I'd recommened going with 19s.

Sorry to be an old grump,

It definetly is. I've got a friend that his mom bought him a 2003 BMW M3. This kid took 5 yrs to graduate high school, and on top of this he was kicked out not once, but twice.

Trust me, they're not that well off. His mom works 16hrs a day by being a nurse at a hospital, and he's currently in school trying to become a pharmacist, I'm hoping that is going good for him.

the ride of these wheels are not that bad compared to other cars. my w210 with 20" inch lowenharts rides smoother than my girlfriends elcips imo. i suppose compaired to a stock mercedes it rides a bit more rough but as far as compairing it to something else it is still ok.

I know my 19s are super risky but 20s? you are asking for trouble. Thoses reflectors on the center lanes might bend your rims if you go any larger.

Is he nuts? I can't imagine getting a car like that for a 16 year old. My business partner is buying a used SUV for his 16 year old son. He's NUTS. We have had about a dozen fatalities of teen-aged drivers in SUVs in this area in the last two weeks -- all due to 'driver error.'

When my daughter graduated from high school, I bought her a Honda Accord Sedan (used) -- a good, solid, safe car for an inexperienced driver. P.s., seven years later, she's still alive.

Good parenting on your part, not much else to say. Yeah, I'm trying to purchase a new car as well being 19. Would like to "upgrade" just a bit. I had a 1997 Volvo 850, the car just got totalled, and waiting out an agreement with the lady's (who hit me) insurance.

Would like another Volvo, but it's so expensive to maintain.

I've owned two Volvos, two Hondas, and four Toyotas along with many, many much more interesting cars. Volvo, Honda, and Toyota all make great cars but if I were looking for a car in the Volvo league, I would take a hard, hard look at the new Honda Accord. It can't be beat for engineering, safety, and reliability plus they have done a really nice job on the restyling.

Get 19's instead, with the money you save from buying 19's instead of 20's, buy a hooked on phonics set.

I definetly wouldn't recommened it unless it were some really strong forged wheels such as HRE, BBS. Maya wheels are very expensive higher-end wheels, I would stick mainly with 19s on those.

If you want a price on a set of Maya wheels let me know & we'll talk something out.
