What’s going on with my car
Last night get in my 350 e class 2006 and lights don’t come on and the key won’t turn.. (key fob quit working month ago) I find someone to jump it and as soon as I put jumper cables on my battery I know wrong place but it doesn’t work anywhere else but all lights come on and key fob came back to life .. on catch it’s not hooked up to the other vehicle yet. So for twenty min we try and try but eventually the guy that was awesome to help said he had to go. I couldn’t thank him enough and he left as soon as he left I tried one more time I be damned it starts right up I’m hour from home drive home and now key fob doesn’t work for the light and stuff always starts the car can’t lock it? Anybody out there can help?im not mechanically inclined. I’m more like a monkey man suit! So please keep that in mind, and speak in Laymans terms!

Did I change batteries in fob
No I did not there is no way to get into it .. plus for past three months no nothing no unlock nor lock and not red light at all now since the post. I did clean up the terminals but why would that effect my the fob ?? Unless the car charges the battery in the fob, could it be my alternator,
