2005 E320 CDI with OM648 engine
I'm replacing motor mounts and jacking the engine at oil pan is lifting the whole car.
All 4 bolts on the mounts are removed. What the heck is going on? Is the engine attached to the frame somewhere else? How can I lift the engine to pull mounts out?

How much did you lift the engine? Suspension will lift the front end up when you unload the engine weight from the subframe.
The transmission mount bolts need to be removed...
