aux input in glove box

hello,

its been over 10 years since ive used the aux input in the glove box. matter of fact, it wasnt even me but my daughter that used it. anyway ive decided im going to use the s8+ tablet i have rather than replace the entire head unit and run the audio through the aux input via a BT receiver. the problem is i dont remember if theres anything i need to press on the comand itself to enable the aux as i dont see an aux button on the comand. is it auto on as soon as something is plugged into the aux input? also i need to know will that affect the cell phone BT system if aux is being used or does it temp ports back the audio to cell when cell is being used?

thanks

You switch to aux from the audio menu, there's an aux selection on the right and you just select the top one. It's basically the same for ipod/aux. As for bluetooth, the phone takes over once you answer a call and then once you end the call, the audio picks up again.
