MOST/fiber adapter to AGW does not work/no sound
Hi all,
I have just replaced my Comand NTG1 with an Android unit and everything works great. Except for the little detail with sound...
First I got a MOST adapter for W211 2009- and that did not work (as expected), so I bought the correct one for 2003-2008 since it's a 2004, but unfortunately this didn't work either.

I have tried to reset the AGW and I can see that both the fiber adapter and the AGW does try to communicate via the fiber, so the AGW seems to wake up but I get no sound. I have also tried with another sound source than the Android, but no sound
The only thing I've done different that I can think of is that I have disconnected everything on the MOST ring (phone, navi, cd changer etc) and the fiber adapter is connected directly to the AGW/amp, i.e. the ring only contains the AGW and the adapter.
Does anyone have some ideas or know if some of the other devices need to be present on the ring to get the AGW to receive sound?

I am also installing a new head unit. I am pretty sure I f**ked up and destroyed at least 1 of the fiber optic cables.
Now I am thinking to just get rid of the original amp. I didn't get the MOST adapter yet and with the extra cost of new wiring I am not sure it is worth getting the adapter.
- Is there a way to run the radio without amp at all?
- Does anyone have the specs of the Becker Q01 amp?

Yes, there's a harness to replace the AGW and drive the speakers from the Android unit.
