There is no dipstick
The other day I discovered that there is no oil dipstick in new E. Was there one in W210? Instead there is a neat feature in OBC for checking engine oil level, like in 996.

ARE YOU KIDDING? If that is a fact one day cars will come without hoods (bonnets for you blokes) and the owner will have no access to the engine bay. Computers will check everything. The spare is gone the way of the dinosaur and now the dip-stick!

The C class is the same way. You can get a dipstick (that can not be left in the car) for $100+ !
On the C class, you can check the oil level ("1 quart low") from the instrument panel, and there is a "hack" into the diagnostic system that will show to .1 quart.

No oil dipstick ... Interesting !
Yes, of course, the W210 has everything
From the instrument panel, it can check the oil level too.
Note: make sure you have the Spark plugs on the W211 :p :p

2004 S 600
My 2001 S600 has no dipstick..........and there is no way to jump start the car, yes there are no +- connectors under hood....battery is in trunk. My 99 E430 had battery in trunk, but +- connectors in tiny plastic boxes under hood.
