power steering pump E320 (M112)
In the process of resolving some issues on my 2004 E320 (M112):
Power steering pump is lately making some noise when making harder turns.
I noticed the fluid wasn't filled to the top, so this is probably the main cause, fluid is probably also very old.
Just to be sure, I am also checking the pump.
The pulley seems to be solid and moving freely. No play horizontal, vertical or in/out at all.
I do notice some clicking when changing the direction from clockwise to counterclockwise and vice versa. Is this normal?
