Any way to get in E320 trunk???
I desperately need to get in the trunk. There is no power to anything in the back of the car. I can't get in with the key. What now?
I got an E350 for cheap because the PO couldn’t get into the trunk and battery was dead, that’s all I did. The remote is useless

If the battery hasn’t been dead too long You might be able to put a trickle charger on the front terminals under the hood by fuse box…leave it on for a full day and hope you get enough juice to be able to use the remote to open the trunk.
I tried this once before but the battery was too far gone in my case.
edit: didn’t see your pics, 4v might be too low to take a charge but you never know…I also don’t have aux battery

Last resort I would try and finagle the inside of the missing tumbler to pop whatever the key normally would. Make sure the lever is fully forward and with a curved screw driver or something unlatch it. A brand new latch would be a couple hundred bucks, I’d just break it if desperate
since parts we’re removed maybe show us what is actually still there?

I have the battery on a trickle charger now so main battery is at about 12.6 volts. I just checked it out tonight. I hook up under the front passenger side carpet.
To recap:
-Nothing in the rear of the car works. No tail lights, rear turn signals, trunk release. Headlights work, power seats work, central locking works. Battery warning/visit workshop is on all the time. Doesn't really seem to make a difference if the aux battery is in the car or not. Nothing changes when I install it.
-Car cranks over, no start.
-Key fob does nothing.
-Codes listed in previous post. There may be more codes but I'm a novice with the scanner and MB.
All of these issues started at the same time. The car was driving around normally before although the battery warning has always been on.

The car was just towed to my sons school workshop. It's a very well equipped shop with a great instructor who has many years of import experience. We'll see what happens there.
