I am trying to do an LED conversion on my 2009 E550 and so far everything has gone well and simple, aside from the rear ceiling lights, I have the panoramic roof and don't have the usual dome light. I have searched endlessly for any tutorial or steps to take them out to replace the bulbs inside. Any help would be appreciated as I have seemingly hit a roadblock with these lights and don't like the halogen bulbs in the back while I have LEDs in the rest of the car.
These are the ceiling lights that come with the panoramic roof after removing the center unit this is what i am left with and can see no way to drop the left or right light panels to access the bulb.
Update: Ended up getting them out a while ago but forgot I posted this thread. You simply just pry at the edges and push down on the metal clip through the removed ceiling dome system. Comes out after a little force as they are wedged in there fairly tight.
