Mercedes W211 - ILS headlamps upgrade
Hi Guys!
I have a 2007 W211 with ILS headligts. The headlights are not very bright at night, so I plan to equip the headlight with a new projector. If feasible, I would like to install a LED projector.
I saw on the Retrofitlab website that the non-ILS W211 Bi-Xenon headlamps were fitted with new EVOX-R projectors, which gave the headlight a serious luminance output. Unfortunately Retrofitlab does not have any direct solution for ILS headlights.
I would like to keep working the Intelligent Light System function without any fault codes.
Has anyone done this before? What are your experiences?
If anybody has a drawing of the ILS headlight construction or a picture of a disassembled ILS headlight I would appreciate it.
