camshaft position sensor connector replacement

The locking tab on my camshaft position sensor connector fell apart.
This is on the passenger side. Is it difficult to replace this connector? Are there any videos or instructions? The sensor side is ok. The connector on the harness is broken.
Thanks.

ziptie it down, I did this the other day for a customer, ziptie it lateraly. Previous mechanic broke all the tabs and gave up the job and wrote the car off leaving me to make that delicious money

How can I replace the connector? Is it possible to open the cover (I think, it is A0005452584), buy a new connector (I think, it is A2035453028), then pull the wires with terminals out and insert them into the new connector? Are there any special crimping tools needed to do this? Thanks.

Not familiar with this specific connector, but most connectors have primary lock on the terminal, and secondary lock on a housing. Secondary opens with a small screwdriver, but usually primary calls for a special tool. Some can be opened with a small screwdriver, though.
No crimping tool needed if only the housing is replaced.
