Late Delviery on E what to do? HELP
Hi Guys, just wanted to know if i can do anything about a late dilvery, The dealer promised me that it would be in my the end of last month and it was written in the contract. Then i was told i was suppose to get it last week, but i still havent got it. Do u guys know if i can get any compensation from the dealer? Any help would be appriciated.

Sometimes dealers sell cars they don't have and know they won't get for a while. Each dealership is allocated only so many cars of certain types and he may have known you car might be delayed. The only way to make sure is to ask for specifics.... what is the VIN number, manufacture date, date it hit the dock, etc. In the US/CA car dealers are required to return a deposit on a car by law if the buyer asks for it prior to delivery. Not sure if this is true where you are.

ask for the VIN#. i've had my VIN# for a month now while I wait. that way you know the car didn't arrive and he got a better offer for your car....
your leverage is if he breached contract and if that clause breach affects the entire contract (talk to attorney if you really want to go this route). just makes contract null and void and threaten to go to another dealer. otherwise i'd just put the screws to him, get the VIN# and get a good location of where the car is.

. I'm going to get the VIN# and find out where my car is.
