So my car is in for the SBC recall and had them look at the creeking pano roof with body flex by driving slow over bumps or hills. Found out today they will be replacing 2 panels of the pano roof.....I just hope it doesn't come back and it starts to leak......

Anyone had their pano panels replaced?

I know of a few people with replaced panoramic roof panels. Mine has started rattling and looks like it may be a candidate. Good thing I have a spare one sitting around.

I've never had any problems with my pano. Love it! When I was in for the recall service and routine C Service last week, they cleaned and lubricated the pano track.

I like the Pano too. The squeeking is actually minimal and bearable. I figured it was a minor fix as I pointed out to the shop foreman when you press on the side piece near the passenger side rear, you can hear the squeek. When you press on the driver's side, it's solid. Thought all they had to do was tighten the loose panel but the advised today they will replace 2 panels.

I also have the Pano creak... it's actually pretty bad if I turn the music down to talk to people... I'm going to have it looked at when I go in for my SBC recall. I'm usually pretty tolerant of stuff but it's bad on my car.

Marcus: I'll let you know what exactly they fixed after I get my car back. BTW...Dennis (99 Viper R/T) was telling me a couple of months ago on a Thursday night gathering......your E55 was pulling pretty good. I think he said you were keeping up with a modded 996 TT.
