Rough Idle m112 Engine E240
Hello everyone,
I'm facing an issue with my W211 E240 that I just can't seem to resolve. It vibrates when idle. As soon as I accelerate or drive, it runs smoothly. I've already done the following:
- Replaced engine and transmission mounts
- Replaced pre-catalytic lambda sensors
- Checked crankcase ventilation hoses
I also disconnected the mass airflow sensor and started the vehicle, but there was no change in behavior. The check engine light is not on, and the idle speed is stable.
The car is a manual transmission and has 170 thousand kilometers on it.
Does anyone have any ideas on what else I can try?
I had a workshop check the smoothness of all cylinders, and they seem fine. The error memory is empty, except for the lambda sensor errors, which I've already replaced. Strangely, the issue persisted after the replacement. Could it possibly be an issue with vacuum leaks?
