I was just checking the options and packages of the E 500 and was wondering if I could order the eletric power-sunshade (rear-window) and the manual blinds (side) along with the Panorama-Roof. According to the brochure, I can't...
Why should it be impossible to order those options AND the Pano-Roof 
I found a rear-sunshade and side-sunshades in the "Accesories" of the online-configurator. What kind of blindes are those? If I can't order those factory-installed blinds, can they be retro-fitted by my dealer?

I have the pano roof and the factory installed rear blinds on my E320. I tried to order the side blinds but for the 04 model year thay were only available with a package that required a sunroof. Looks like for 05 they have deleted one more option for those who go with the pano roof, having also taken away the option of the solar panels. I suspect I might have the only 4matic E320 in the US equipped with both a pano roof and solar panels.
Anyway, I do also have the parts department ordered rear passenger side sunshade blinds but because it is winter and we have so little light anyway in the wnter months I have yet to install them. On the plus side they cover more window space than the factory roll up ones do.
