Hi. I recently had problems with the SBC Pump in my W211 E220 CDI 2003 car. Is there any possibility to be compensated by the Mercedes factory, as I have heard that some of them are manufactured with defects. Thank you if you can help me in this direction.

Probably yes, but you need to get it diagnosed by an official MB dealer. I got mine replaced last year for free on my CLS55. The diagnosis took about 2 hours for me before they gave me the green light. I made a post about it on my Instagram and it seems there are differences per country, see here:
