Center console question
I recently bought a 2009 E350 P1 4Matic and one of the first things I found that I don't like about it is the roll-up center console lid. I hate it. I seen earlier year cars that had a double door padded console with the cup holders out in front. Are these two consoles interchangeable with no, or at least minimal modifications?

Front of console to center of dash uses different mating design. You might be able to swap in an early console if you also swap out the center dash or modify parts to allow different years parts to mate. Would take some time researching parts in EPC and locating them.
