722.6 torque converter slipping

So I just bought my first w211 it’s a 2003 270 cdi with a 722.6 auto transmission.

The problem is that it feela like the torque converter isn’t engaged all the way. It also feels like it’s slipping constantly.
E.g. if I wanted to accelerate normaly to 60kmh it shifts arround 2000 rpm and when I get to the speed and let off of the gas, rpm drops to idle. Also when accelerating a bit harder it holds 2500 rpm and accelerates.

Basicly sometimes it acts like its a CVT transmission.

I have noticed that when I let go od the gas the rpm drops for about 400-500 rpm, so if the car is on 2000 rpm it drops to around 1500rpm. So driving 60kmh in 4 gear, which would be 1400-1500 rpm, when I let go, it drops to 900 rpm

My friend had a similar problem on his 280 cdi om 642, he needed to rebuild the trans bcs there were copper shavings in the oil and the shop said it was the torque converter.

The previus owner of my car said the trans oil was changed last year, I didn’t believe him bcs when meassured it was very dark brown color. So today I changed the oil and the filter with FEBI 236.14 approved oil.
The oil was very dark, for some reason the filter came out with the oil pan. There was NO shavings of any kind, and there was also NO fiber material indicating torque converter clutches wearing out. The magnet had very fine shavings, almost like a film, couldn’t see them, but my finger was black when I wiped it.

The changes were following: a bit nicer shifting, but slipping problem still remains.

Now on the internet people say it’s the torque converter going bad, some say it’s the solenoids and some thah it just needs an adaptation using STAR diagnostics.

Just to mention, I have NO trans faults stored, I checked using two different Star tools. So the car thinks that everything is fine.

Now my question is, what should I do next? Changed the oil, should I attack the solenoids or change the converter?

Also when pressing the gas all the way it goes as it should and it feels like it locks up, but when it changes gear it should go from 4500 rpm to around 3200 rpm, thats what I’ve seen on multiple youtube videos, but mine drops to 3500 rpm, holds them for a bit, but accelerating, and them it continues to 4500 again.

Thanks

So when I test the trans through MB diagnostic, I should see whats wrong?
