2006 E500 Wagon Steering Rack Leak

2005 C55, 2006 E500 Wagon
2006 E500 Wagon Steering Rack Leak
Hi All,

I have a significant leak coming from where the steering shaft comes into the rack above the power steering lines.

Is there a seal or rebuild kit for this leak or am I looking at a whole rack replacement? I cant find any available seals/o rings except for the two for the lines below the leak.

UPDATE 4/02/24 - one shop that has seen the video said that the speed sensitive steering head unit is what typically leaks - still requires the rack to be removed but that may be a serviceable part.
