"E"-production statistic (in German)

I haven't translated this, since I do not know what theese colors are called in English:

Avantgarde 39%
Elegance 35%
Classic 26%

Lackfarben Top 6:
Brilliantsilber 35,0%
Obsididanschwarz 9,4%
Cubanitsilber 9,0%
schwarz 8,3%
Tealitblau 6,8%
Tansanitblau 5,5%

Motoren:
E 220 CDI 23%
E 200 CDI 18%
E 200 K 15%
E 240 15%
E 270 CDI 10%
E 320 CDI 7%
E 320 7%
E 500 3%
E 400 CDI 1%
E 55 AMG 1%

'08 AM Vantage V8 - '03 E500
Do the numbers refer to the German domestic market, or the EU market, or some other market? Surely not the worldwide market - since "Avantgarde", "Elegance" and "Classic" are unknown designations in North America.

Whatever market it is, 59% of the E-class production in diesels says that the US is following in Europe's, um, smoke. As in so many other things.

Meaning, assuming that the numbers refer to the German or EU market, that Europe is ahead of the US in acceptance of modern clean diesels. "Ahead", in the sense of more advanced, more progressive, and better. The second sentence is for domestic, US, consumption and is not strictly automotive in context.
