I recently got myself a used Mercedes-Benz W211 E270 Classic from 2003. Had to get some touch-ups and swaps done, so I handed it over to a repair guy. Every time I went by to check on progress, I noticed the trunk was filling up with stuff and the covers were being tossed aside.
Anyway, when I finally got it back, I noticed something missing in the trunk/boot. Can't quite put my finger on what it was, but I definitely know it's not there anymore. Asked the repair guy about it, but he swears everything's fine. I snapped a pic right after I cleared out the clutter, and it looks like there's a cover missing above the spare tire. Right now, there's just a mat, but I remember there used to be a sturdier cover underneath.
If anyone knows what I'm missing and what it looks like, I'd really appreciate it!
As you can see, the mat is not long enough to cover the entire thing and the back is looking odd if the hole for the spare tyre is at the correct position. So, something is missing, I can tell!
