How to manually close pano roof or seal shut?
E63 AMG W211. Pano roof has the "machine-gun noise". I took apart the lights and rear view to get a closer look. One of the bolts that can have a washer added is there, however the hole is completely stripped. The pano roof is stuck flared open.
Wondering if there is a way to physically / manually close the roof without using the motor mechanism. Or can I remove the glass and drop it down sealed.
Will probably tap/drill it for a larger bolt this weekend. Pretty lame but it is what it is.
