Brake wear sensors - how many?
Hi all
I'm wondering if someone could advise me on how many brake pad wear sensors would be fitted to my 2007 W211 E280 petrol sedan (NO sport package).
I think there are two sensors on the front brakes (one per side) and only one on the back brakes? Is this correct?

On my '07 E350 Sport I'm almost positive there is one on each front brake, and only the one on the rear. When I redid my brakes the sensors were like $3 from FCP Euro so I just ordered an extra one just in case I needed it.

You only need it if the light comes on. If the lights don't come on, that means you can reuse them. It basically wears away and once it's broken, it signals that they need to be replaced. So if you replace them before it happens, you can just reuse them because they're not broken yet.
