Question Correct spark plugs?

I have searched numerous threads about this topic but haven’t been able to come to a definitive answer. Looking through the owners manual I see that the E550 lists two spark plugs of which are NGK and Bosch. From what I gathered, the NGK plugs are not the correct plugs and don’t work for the E550. The Bosch plugs seem to have been discontinued as well.

from my searches I’ve found that people have used the NGK PLKR7A (4288), or Bosch YR7MPP33 for the E550. I’m wondering which of the two or if there’s another plug that works better with the M273 that should be used. The genuine Mercedes plugs would cost me around $30 a piece and the Bosch seem to sell for $14 each which would be a great deal cheaper for essentially OE plugs.

Any help would be appreciated in this topic as I’m really unsure as to which plugs I should get and install. It also seems that most plugs come gapped at 0.8mm while the manual calls for a 1mm gap.

It looks like Bosch lists 8132 YR6NPP332 for your engine. You could go buy one plug at the MB dealer, then open the box and see what number is stamped on the plug base, then order the rest at the lower price.

The Bosch are the same plugs as the MB branded ones. Ive used the NGK youve noted in my M273 for the last 50,000km and they are just as good if not better than the MB originals that I replaced. Have no concerns in using the NGK noting they're probably as good a plug as any.

Ended up going with the NGK 4288, took a plug out, and saw that the 4288 had been installed in the car already. Seems as though the service manual listed plugs meant for the pre-facelift models of the E550 not using the m273/m272 engines. Thanks for the help nonetheless!!
