I have a thread about an E500 I’m trying to look at, but the “dealer” lost the key and is (theoretically) getting another one as I type this. I’m second guessing the car, mainly due to the dealer’s lack on communication/getting anything done and it’s 4 states away so looking at it isn’t easy.

As the title asks, how rare are dynamic seats in a S211 E500? The color combo is exactly what we’re looking for and it has dynamic seats. Whether they work or not is yet to be discovered, but it’s something I’m able to fix. If not too terribly rare, I’m thinking about passing on the car, but if rare, I’ll pursue it further.

I’ve seen some threads about retrofitting these seats, but nothing conclusive on if the issues they encountered were resolved to get them working, so I’d rather not go down that road if I don’t need to.
