Curt Hitch 500 Wagon, which part number?

2004 E500 Wagon, 2005 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
Curt Hitch 500 Wagon, which part number?
Just bought a nice E500 wagon and want to attach a curt hitch for carrying things on platform and bike racks and what not. I’ve seen MANY threads about which Curt hitch is best for these cars, the 11820 or the 11701. Does anyone know, definitively, which is the better model for the 500 wagon? Thanks

I have the curt 117013 hitch on the back of my wagon.

Awesome - do you know the difference between that one and the standard 11701?

It comes with an extra hitch thing. The part that goes into the receiver.

perfect. Did you have to cut into your bumper to attach?? I’m hearing that’s the case for the 701
