W211 Rust: Pre FL vs FL
Long story short my 2003 W211 is a rust bucket. I love the car, but it's a never ending fight.
I noticed almost every Pre FL W211 is rusting in my country (salt on roads). Doors, rear arches, the usual.
I know W211 got galvanized from year ~2006.
But is it really any better? I don't wanna swap my reliable I6 for a more troublesome V6 diesel, but if rust issues are fixed, I might take a leap.
So the question is, how bad is rust (if there's any) on facelift models?
