2006 e320 CDI: What is this jumper wire?
Hello everyone! I'm Stefan.
For my first post, im working on an 06 e320 that I picked up in the Sacramento area. It appears to have an exhaust leak which may be drawing fumes into the cabin - so if anyone has any pointers on common leakage points I'm thrilled to learn what those are, but that is really a secondary purpose of this thread.
My main question is: Can anyone here identify this mystery jumper wire plugged into a harness pigtail? It's under the hood near a fuel rail.
I've attached badly taken pics, and I'll be pulling codes using an old (2016) version of sds after I replace the battery. After the scan I'll post those as well. I anticipate the usual low voltage codes will not be relevant.
closest I can find in star diag / wis
In the meanwhile, if someone smarter than me can tell me what this is, I will be thoroughly indebted to you.
Thanks for reading,
Stefan
