Questions Regarding a 2008-2009 E500/E550
Hello everyone, There seem to be a lot of people saying that the M273 engine is unreliable, but that should be for the early models, right? In 2008, most of the issues should have been solved, including the timing problem, is that right? So, would you say the engine is reliable? Also, I heard that the early 7G-Tronic is also unreliable. Finally, if I were to get a used 2008-2009 E500/E550 RWD as a daily car with about 100k miles and I average about 25k miles a year, more or less, Will the car last with me for five years without major problems in the transmission and engine?
