Is Bumpy Ride Normal For Airmatic?

Hey everyone, I recently purchased a W211 2005 E320 about a month ago. After only driving it 3-5 days, the air suspension started leaking air on the rear left side. I had everything replaced with Arnott parts, including the compressor, and I just picked up the car. However, the ride is still bumpy. I drove my friend's 2005 Sienna and it felt more comfortable than my Mercedes. There are no dashboard errors and all the Arnott parts are original, so I'm not sure why this is happening. I also had the shocks replaced and there's still a clunking noise coming from the rear airbags when the car is raising up. It goes like clunk clunk each time the rear is raising, but there's no noise from the front. Is this normal? Tomorrow I'm going back to my mechanic for a road test.

What size wheels do you have? Be careful with the Arnott air springs they have a terrible reputation.

I have 17" wheels. Its an E320 base model.
I bought a spring conversion kit from Strutmasters, the ride was terrible. Worse than any car I ever been, have them removed and installed this one from my mechanics advise but I feel like ride is not much better.
I had different cars before, Civic, Acura TL, Model 3. Now I can say this is not drives better than any of these cars. I am thinking something might be wrong but its my first Benz. I don't know if this is normal.

Stock factory coil springs offer the best ride quality by far. I went from SLS air suspension to sedan coils on the back of my wagon. The ride is much improved.

Could you do a vide of the car raising to reflect the chunking noise?
