Bluetooth Music 08 E350
Recently, I bought a 2008 E350, it has a large Bluetooth thing inside the center console. My research indicates the thing inside the center console is for hands free phone use, no audio. In online forums, Mercedes owners seem to have some type of auxiliary cord in or around the glove compartment. However, the exact location and type of connection (if any) don't seem uniform. I have attached a picture of the cable wire in my glove compartment. The cable wire originates from the rear left corner of the compartment and "seems" to be factory installed but I don't know for sure. In any case, I'm assuming this adapter is the 30 pin type I read about for Mercedes. My questions are, is this in fact a 30 pin type? If so, does it only work for Apple, Android or some proprietary MB electronics? If it will accept most 30 pin Bluetooth options, does anyone have a recommendation of what I could buy that works with Android? Not sure if it matters but the car has a Harman Kardon system. Thanks in advance to everyone who takes the time to read and reply.

Adaptor
I have the same car. I bought the Bovee 1000 adaptor(Bought on Amazon )which plugs into the connector you have in the glove box. Connected it to my Bluetooth on my iPhone and it works perfectly. All my music on my iPhone plays thru the HK stereo in the car. Hope this helps.
