I am mature enough to know that this may be sour grapes because I wouldn't be forking over the dough for the new one even if I liked it BUT--The new styling looks like a cross between a Maxima and a Toyota. What ever happened to the idea of waiting 10 years before completely revamping a model? Is the Chrysler mentality sneaking in?
I'm also not a fan of adding a bunch of bells & whistles and electronic gadgets. These cars have always been famous for their ride, drive and classic styling. Why change now and follow the crowd? Besides, most of the time we are going to the grocery sore or malls--not on a lunar landing mission.
I'm just as happy to stick with my 98 E430 Sport! And here it is![IMG]http://[/IMG]

Yeah, I really like it. I only upgraded from a 97 E420 but there was a big difference in performance and handling. Well, and the looks--my other one was Smoke Silver--not bad but definately not as racey as this. Why is your web site PC Mall?

Why did you get black though?
I mean it's nice but definitely very hard to clean. After a while of cleaning it you'll probably get swirl marks. As far as the website that's the name of the company i work for.

I've always wanted black. Besides it's Obsidian Black and therefore not as big a swirl problem. Keeping my cars in perfect shape is a hobby so I don't mind a little extra work keeping the black in shape. Say, since your kinda in the biz--where is the cheapest place to get a 10 inch plazma tv?

I really don't care about the brand. I went to the store the other day and I guess the 10" are LCD TVs. It was a Sharp and they wanted $699 for it. I like it because it's so skinny. I want to get it for my wife for a TV in the Kitchen. Tired of a big box sitting on the counter.

I haven't had a black car since I was a kid so I thought I would give it a whirl. I like to spend time making the finish perfect so I know I have my work cut out for me. Someone told me about a product on this forum called Blackfire. I've ordered the polish and wax. Who ever suggested it said that in 25 years it was the best he'd seen for a black car. We'll see. Right now, in the picture it just has a coat of McGuires polish on it. Since I just got the car I haven't put the wax on yet. I'll repolish and wax with Blackfire and re-post a pic.

Got it last week. I bought it. I have never leased a car. Just seems like it's not yours. I know that sounds weird and that it may, in some circumstances be cheaper to lease but that's my bias. Besides-my wife says that I have to keep it longer than a normal lease would run ( you know the song " No honey, I won't want to get another one for a long time-this is just what I want -yaddy yaddy yah!).

i'm on the mailing list for pcmall. do you guys have any deals on IDE maxtor 7200 40 or 60GB? I also need a SCSI CDR, pref. Plextor. And a wireless linksys router with 2 wireless pc cards. Right now I split the IC using XP pro, but the clients can't browse certain sites (ones that use reverse DNS lookup) that the host can. SO i decided last night it was time for a new router. Any advice? Is it a DHCP error?
