ecu swap
Hi, im new here. I wrecked my 04 E55 Amg back in January and i just bought me another one same year but it looks like it is different trim level. I have a few issues with the new one.
The blower motor is not working and both front and rear displays do not lights up but i still can see the symbols how it operates properly. Also it has panoramic roof and the sunroof and the covers are not burking but there is buzzing sound fron the sunroof area. The previous owner decided to replace the key fob case but he didnt know that the cars with keyless entry and push button start have different cases than the regular ones and when hi pushed the battery in the new case he ripped off the electrical parts in it. The car starts with the key but no lock/unlock ur start from the shifter works. My wrecked one have new metal key and also RaceIQ tuned Ecu on it and 70 mm clutched pulley on it. My question is is it possible to swap the Ecu's and will it work with the old key from the wrecked car or is lost cause? any info will be appreciated for all the issues i have. Thanks!
