Hello everyone, it's my first post here so sorry if I do something wrong.
W211 E200 cdi 2004 90kw
I have a problem where the radio works fine when engine is off, but when you turn on the engine, after a few seconds it mutes the radio. It shows a crossed out speaker. Also when the engine is turned off the radio unmutes.
This mute is not the same as the mute button, when you click the mute button, the "fm 2" and "103.0 MHz" disappear.
We have tried pulling the fuse #6 and fuse #28, but it still didn't fix the issue. The car battery should be fine because it cranks good and everything else works.

when you run the VIN data card do any of the following codes come up----B63, 97B or 6UO---if not you have an issue with the amplifier---however to correctly diagnose the radio find someone with DAS or XDOS to read the radio faults that are not able to be called up with settings
Thanks for the response, I don't think I have those codes in my VIN data card.
I will try to check if there are any error codes.
