Hello, I have a 2003 W211, the trunk will pop open when the car is locked. Is there a fix for this? Thanks

 

Every time or intermittently? My first guess is your wiring harness insulation is cracking up where it goes from the chassis to the trunk lid, right by the left side hinge. You'll not be the first person to find broken wires and missing insulation right there.

 

Hi it happens intermittently. it will go for a week or so before ir happens again.
