Help with engine knock
So I've read too many posts with similar sounds and no remedy. M112 & M272, Frustrating...
It actually sounds worse than in video, I think too much background noise.
Many people say just run it, some of them knock. I could live with that if I read some posts from people saying they have been driving with a knock for tens of thousands of miles. Anyone out there?
Is that oil pressure normal at warm idle? It started @ 70psi, rose to 80 for several minutes, then slowly fell as engine warmed. Bad bearing I assumed would be very low idle pressure...
Fresh oil change just in case, previous change documented 3000mi ago.
Can you see crank/rods with lower oil pan pulled?
Lastly is a Chrysler crossfire the same engine, like is swap plug & play?
Oh, this is an 04 e320 w/ 155,000mi...
Thanks

There's two crossfire engines 4/S really cheap near me...[/size]
Too lazy to take the time for #2&4, should have done compression but didn't think until I was already putting it back together
